Travel-friendly fashion goes high-tech with MagnaReady self-buttoning dress shirts. The clothing company makes it easier for travelers with little time on the road to get dressed quickly with a line of button-down dress shirts that literally dress you.
The adaptive clothing was designed by Maura Horton, a woman with a background in fashion who wanted to offer her husband, a college football coach diagnosed at any early age with Parkinson’s disease, more clothing comfort and convenience. She created a magnetically-infused shirt he could easily dress in without the need for finger dexterity.
The shirts are an excellent solution for those who need to change quickly in a short amount of time and have all the qualities needed in practical travel clothing. Hidden magnets concealed inside the shirt placket beneath traditional buttons snap shut in an instant, allowing wearers to look sharp in seconds. The light shirt also washes well by hand, dries quickly and does not wrinkle.
MagnaReady women’s dress shirts are currently available in two colors in long sleeves, priced from $64.95 per shirt, while the men’s clothing includes several colors in both long- and short-sleeved options, starting from $62.95 per shirt.
