Maximize your travel time with MiFlight, a new app that helps travelers determine security line wait times at the world’s major airports. The crowd-sourced travel app works as users set an app timer at the beginning of the line, stop it when they clear security and pass along the information.

The app currently features more than 50 of the world’s top-traveled airports, with more coming soon, as well as airport terminal maps. Users can share pictures and statuses or search by airport and save favorites.

According to MiFlight, 2.6 billion people traveled through the top 50 busiest airports last year and if everyone arrived 30 minutes too early, that’s 1.3 billion hours of life spent waiting, wasting 148,000 years.
