National Park apparel isn’t always the most stylistically cutting edge. T-shirts, sweatshirts, caps and other items tend to be popular purchases for visitors wanting to commemorate the experience, but they don’t always inspire the same way the parks’ vistas do.

Parks Project is attempting to turn that on its head by making attractive park-inspired apparel that will appeal to the millennial set — just the generation that should be motivated to protect and preserve these fragile treasures.

The graphically appealing shirts mostly feature one specific park with a unique, abstract logo created by the Parks Project team. The shirt styles range from racerback tanks to raglan tees to sweatshirts and regular T-shirts, as well as accessories like hats and drinkwear. Each are soft and comfortable, boasting a “lived-in” feel.

Naturally, each product sends a percentage of its sales back to the parks; you can read about the cause being supported when you view the product information page of each item. Recently, Parks Project launched a partnership with Sierra Club, with each purchase of the Sierra Club Explore and Protect Collection directly benefitting the organization and the care of the parks.

Another new project, the Defend our Parklands Collection, launched in response to a recent executive order called to review millions of acres of land under government protection. The order includes 27 designated national monuments whose protected status could be eliminated.
