‘Twas the season for the annual celebration of our sister publication’s, Global Traveler, GT Tested Reader Survey award ceremony in Los Angeles, Calif. Celebrated for the seventh consecutive year at the The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, my colleagues and I were treated to the hotel’s incredible rooms and services for the few days surrounding our event.
We were welcomed to the holiday-ready hotel, complete with Christmas trees, homemade hot apple cider and glittering decorations in the lobby. This was my second stay at the property and my experience definitely lived up to the memory from last year.
The entire process, from the minute I checked in to settling in to my room to my early-morning check out, was seamless. The Peninsula staff was kind, attentive and personable. I enjoyed the personal touches, like my embroidered pillowcase with my initials and turndown service each night.
The traditional décor and festive decorations acted as the perfect backdrop to our event, held on the rooftop overlooking the city.
