Reward Credit Cards: Are They Worth It?

It is not enough to make money. You have to make money with your money. Reward credit cards are part of this challenge. With so many options to gain rewards while spending, it can be hard to know which one to choose. Having 15 credit cards does not seem like a great tactic; priorities will need to be set. When choosing a rewards card, you may want to think about what benefits would suit you best. If you fly a lot or enjoy travel, then a card that accumulates points toward flights is your best option, but if you prefer cash back or gift cards, then you will have to make a choice between cards. Some of the best rewards cards for 2017 are United-, Southwest- and British Airways-cobranded credit cards for airline miles and cash back options include the Capital One Venture Card and Chase Sapphire Reserve Card.

Just to let you know, most of these cards require a credit score of around 690 or higher.

And, a word to the wise, some reports came out claiming you may overspend on a rewards card because it seems worth it. You justify a purchase because you are getting points toward flights you would have to pay for any way. There is nothing wrong with this as long as you can pay it off at the end of the month.
