Cruise ships are transforming the way we travel, as they have become increasingly popular and offer vacationers a bang for their buck. Cruise lines have upped industry standards with new ships, destinations, ports and onboard activities.
Royal Caribbean International is raising the bar, taking cruise ships to whole new level of wow. The Harmony of the Seas ship is the newest addition to the Royal Caribbean fleet and is now the largest passenger ship in the world, surpassing sister ships Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas. All three ships are part of the Oasis class and in 2018 and 2021, two more will be added to the family.
Voyage on the Harmony of the Seas is unlike anything else and with the new, unique features you’ll never want to leave. Plunge 10 stories deep on the Ultimate Abyss, the tallest slide at sea; take a spin on the Perfect Storm slides; or scuba in the pool. If you are feeling adventurous, the ship has two FlowRider surf simulators, two 43-feet-high rock-climbing walls, zip lining, a full-sized basketball court, mini-golf, an inline track, an ice-skating rink and a three multi-story waterslide.
Meet your favorite DreamWorks characters and take a picture with Shrek or Kung FU Panda or watch them in the 3D-movie theater. Take a stroll through Central Park and its duty-free shops, or one of the other seven onboard neighborhoods. Guests have access to complimentary AquaTheater shows, ice shows and other live entertainment such as the theater. Enjoy the first performance at sea of the Broadway hit Grease, the Musical. Bars, nightclubs, lounges, a jazz club, karaoke bar and comedy club are also among the activities featured onboard.
Don’t forget about the new dining options that will satisfy any craving, taking your palate on a wild adventure. After dinner sip on a cocktail at the Bionic bar, where drinks are solely made by two robotic arms.
