Music lovers will find a new amenity to enjoy at Seattle’s The Edgewater: a collection of more than 24 handcrafted acoustic guitars from Orangewood Guitars.

“Music is in The Edgewater’s roots,” said Ian McClendon, general manager. “From the early sixties, when we were the first (and only) Seattle hotel to welcome the Beatles during their first global tour, opening our door to the creative industry has been a part of who we are. As we continue to be a destination for contemporary musicians today, it’s important to us that we stay true to those roots by building unique amenities that speak to and serve this community. Partnering with Orangewood was a natural fit for us.”

Orangewood Guitars is known for combining modern design with timeless guitar shapes, while creating high-quality pieces at a range of price points. At The Edgewater, guests can borrow Orangewood’s Brooklyn, Oliver Mahogany and Austin models, among others. The guitars are complimentary for up to two hours, with additional amenities, like sheet music, also on offer.
