Sleeping Lady Resort, Leavenworth

The Sleeping Lady Resort isn’t your average hotel. Tucked inside Icicle Canyon just a few minutes from the Bavarian-themed town of Leavenworth, in Washington State’s Cascade Mountains, this feeling is evident the minute you step out of your car.

The grounds are kept incredibly natural, with buildings that complement the surrounding landscape of lush trees and glimpses of big mountains. Also included in your stay are gourmet buffet breakfasts and dinners at the Kingfisher Restaurant & Wine Bar on site. Local, seasonal ingredients are heavily utilized in a dizzying array of high-quality food.

One of the property’s best features is the outdoor pool and hot pool, both of which are set in a natural setting of boulders nestled against a moss- and lichen-covered hillside. Watch for deer as you unwind here.
