Certain types of products like multitools and smart luggage seem to trend on Kickstarter. One of these common innovations to get serious backing on the site is the slim-line wallet, built for the era of skinny jeans and Apple Pay.

While there are a lot of options for purchase, one of the most successful crowd-funded wallets comes from HuMn, a company that specializes in RFID-blocking wallets with a simple design of two plates and an elastic band. Instead of bulky leather pockets, HuMn wallets let you stack your cards together and protect them with either a metal or polycarbonate shield. A durable elastic band wraps around everything to keep them in place and provides the option of tucking cash as well.

The best part of HuMn wallets is its customizing options. The plates and bands come in several colors and you have two sizing options. When creating your wallet, you can decide whether you want one or two plates, plus dividing plates for increased organization.
