When most people think of museums, they think of hours of walking, reading and looking at ancient artifacts. But, if you are headed to Washington, D.C., make sure to stop by the Spy Museum, I can promise you won’t mind the hours of walking or reading.
Since “a spy must live a life of lies,” you receive a fake identity upon entering and learn all about the spy community through a film. After watching, you walk through the exhibit with more than 200 spy gadgets, weapons, bugs, cameras and vehicles.
Next is a room about the very first spies in the world. You learn about the earliest codes and see the gadgets they had way back when. At the end, you enter the world of James Bond. You see dozens of artifacts from the movies and there are many interactive things within the Bond exhibit. When you are completely finished, you find out if you successfully completed your mission or failed. I could go on and on about this museum but there is way too much to talk about. The museum was amazing and fun for all ages. The next museum on my hit list will be the Newseum.
