There’s nothing worse than settling into your window seat, buckling up and realizing you forgot something in the overhead bin. Being organized during a flight makes for a more pleasant trip. Follow our organization tips to ensure you have a seamless travel experience.
- Keep your important items together in an easily accessible place. If you’re traveling internationally and need special forms, keep those with a pen, your phone and any other important documents within close reach.
- Charge all of your electronics before arriving at the airport. Don’t count on a free outlet near your gate. Make sure all of your devices are fully charged before leaving the house, so you’re set when you board.
- Keep all of your devices and various plugs in one bag so you have everything you need to access in one place.
- Utilize bags with pockets and storage space. Throwing everything in one large bag will make smaller items more difficult to find.
- Pack all of your essentials in a small bag. Put your larger carry-on luggage in the overhead bin and keep the small bag with you at your seat.
- Bring a few snacks and keep them at your seat. If you aren’t pleased with the in-flight dining options, you won’t need to dig in the overhead bin for a granola bar you left in your luggage.
