Hong Kong is one of the coolest places for students studying abroad. It gives you the opportunity to make new friends, build relationships and network with people from all over the world. The work experience you gain makes you a valuable asset to future employers and a global citizen.
You will also be able to travel to neighboring countries, regions and cities to explore the streets of the region. There are many activities for individuals exploring Chinese culture; you will be able to overcome culture shock, assimilate and adapt to your new way of life.
This region is a great spot for foodies or anyone looking to have an exotic, gastronomic experience. You will be exposed to a variety of Asian dishes from multiple cultures. Street food is popular here, so munch your way through the region with new friends.
The region also has the greatest number of skyscrapers in the world and one of the world’s highest life expectancies.
It is also important you enjoy yourself while studying abroad. Hong Kong has a vibrant nightlife so the harder you work, the harder you can play. Consider studying abroad in Hong Kong to explore all the possibilities the cosmopolitan city has to offer.
Some study abroad programs include Syracuse University’s Hong Kong Center and IES Abroad, which works to place students with study abroad programs all over the world.
