Trends / Study Abroad

Have you ever dreamt about studying abroad in a real life castle? At the Bader International Study Centre, you can. The Herstmonceux Castle was built in the late 12th century and has become an international icon over the last few decades.

The school sits on 550 acres of rolling hills just an hour and a half outside of London, making it the perfect place to study and still get away on the weekends. There’s even a moat!

Visiting students are permitted to enroll in classes in the school’s Continuing and Distance Studies program where you can learn a variety of skills in fine arts and other liberal studies.

The castle grounds play host to various performances throughout the year, from operatic spectacles to vintage antique fairs. You’d basically be living out your own version of Hogwarts in England, except without all the magic and flying hippogriffs.

Since England is something of a gateway to the rest of Europe, this serves as the perfect opportunity to explore the rest of the continent on your time off from school. Few places offer such a unique opportunity and setting for your studies.

Interior Upgrades Begin Rolling Out Across United Fleet

United Airlines is in the midst of a major initiative to modernize its fleet over the next several years. After first announcing the plan in 2021, planes fitted with United’s signature interior are finally beginning to appear across the airline’s narrowbody fleet of Boeing and Airbus planes. United flyers are sure to notice these enhancements from the moment they step on board: Each new or updated plane sports remodeled seats, seatback entertainment screens for everyone, Bluetooth connectivity and more, all adding up to a better experience on every journey.
