MealPass is a monthly subscription for your lunch. There’s no cooking, waiting in line or fidgeting for your wallet at the register required. Available in New York, Miami and Boston, MealPass partners with restaurants in these select cities. Then, you get to eat there for lunch. Just pick what you want, go pick it up at the counter and don’t even worry about paying — it’s all a part of your subscription cost. If you use it frequently, the site even boasts you’ll end up spending around $6 per meal, less than the average desk worker spends on rushing out for lunch between emails and meetings.

There are more than 100 restaurants to choose from, and all offer a good quality for the subscription price. For restaurants to participate in the program, they are required to offer normal menu items to MealPass customers, though they’re not required to offer their full menu, and can, in fact, choose to offer as little as one item. Restaurants can also limit the amount of MealPass customers they take each day, so you’ll be competing with other diners to reserve your meal. You can order your lunch and schedule a 15-minute pick-up time as early as 7:00 p.m. the night before and until 9:30 a.m. the morning of, so if there’s a particular restaurant or menu item you want, it’s best to order it as soon as possible the night before. While some may complain they don’t like ordering the day before, it’s really no different than packing a lunch at home to take with you the next day.

Another facet of the program picky eaters may not enjoy? You’re not allowed to make alterations to your meal. In other words, no ordering without cheese, or with the dressing on the side.

Subscriptions begin at $99 per month and go up depending on where you live.
