Summer Roadtrip: Boston to Miami

Take to the open road this summer for a stretch of coastline, culture and miles of scenery from Boston to Miami. The Atlantic coastline is smattered with beautiful beaches, boardwalks and historic towns to check out this summer.

Beginning in Boston, Mass., check out the foodie scene before hitting the open road. Get a good walk in while in the city on a historic tour like the Revolutionary Freedom Trail. Make sure to stop by some of the city’s famous food trucks on your stroll before hoping in the car.

Stop off for some museum and gallery visits in Washington, D.C., when you need to stretch your legs. The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History on Constitution Avenue is just one of the many art and cultural breaks D.C. can offer.

Once refueled and back on the highway, The Outer Banks, N.C., is a great place to stop overnight at one of the many bed and breakfasts. Wake up to the beach view at the Inn of Rodanthe before heading back on the road.

Now just hours from Miami, explore at your own pace or power through to South Beach. Once in Miami, be sure to check out the Miami Beach Art Deco District for fun, color and unique shops and galleries. A summer roadtrip can be the best way to see everything the Atlantic coast can offer.
