Adults who dream of having their own night at the museum experience may have the opportunity to take part in such a magical experience in the coming years in Sydney, Australia. During the summer of 2016, the Sydney Opera House kept its doors open after hours for an adult sleepover, accompanied by eight hours of soothing music. Guests were allowed to explore the interior of the museum and if they chose to sleep, could rest on provided sleeping cots. Building upon the success of this venture, the Opera House submitted a proposal to continue the event at various times throughout the year, making different areas of the facility available to guests.
