Hotel

If you love poutine — the Canadian dish that’s basically fries with cheese curds covered in gravy — then you’re going to want to make tracks to one specific travel destination. No, not Canada. You’ll want to go to this hotel with its own poutine walk-up window.

The Junto is a boutique hotel in Columbus, Ohio, and it’s been named a top independent property in the United States for a slew of good reasons, but let’s keep our focus on the poutine here.

The poutine is available via Little West Poutine, a walk-up window that exclusively serves poutine out of the hotel’s larger restaurant, Little West Tavern. The cheese curds are locally sourced and, in addition to your typical poutine with beef gravy and a sprinkling of chives, the window also serves buffalo chicken poutine with blue cheese bechamel and pickled celery; Western-style poutine with chorizo gravy and street corn salsa; and even a dessert-inspired poutine with funnel cake fries, white chocolate cream cheese, caramel sauce, and cinnamon and sugar.

Poutine starts at just $10 for a serving and the poutine window is open Thursday–Saturday, 6–10 p.m.
