Assateague Island National Seashore, Maryland

Why not combine a vacation at the beach with camping? Assateague is a barrier island off the coast of Maryland, littered with sandy beaches, forests and coastal bays. This is a great location to camp for young and old. With more than 300 campgrounds to choose from, the only thing to worry about is a wild horse stealing your lunch.
