Barcelona

Known for its art, architecture and Gothic Quarter, Barcelona is Spain’s top tourist destination for good reason. The Catalonia region offers sweeping, panoramic views of the sea in one direction, and a cosmopolitan metropolis in the other. The legendary Sagrada Familia church, Museu Picasso and medieval Gothic Quarter are just a handful of the must-see historic landmarks. Foodies should be sure to check out the La Boqueria market, offering a vibrant culinary scene or any of the many seafood restaurants scattered over the coast.
