San Francisco, Calif.

San Francisco offers travelers three important reasons for heading to the big city: great restaurants, world-class wine and pedestrian-friendly streets. Walk down Hayes Street, known for chic shops and café, but be sure to check out the bars lining Mission Street at night.

Palm Beach, Fla.

Beaches and girlfriend getaways go hand in hand. Delray Beach supplies the sand, surf and food, as it’s lined with bistros and pubs and emits a fun, party vibe. If you’re looking for surf and spa, check out the Eau Spa at Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa. The spa offers the ultimate chill spot with hanging chairs, fountains, greenery and a laidback vibe.

Savannah, Ga.

With the beautiful azaleas, rich history and a pedestrian-friendly layout, this southern city makes for an excellent girls’ getaway. Savannah is a super collection of boutique shops, eateries and character cafes, perfect for weekend brunch. Grab ice cream and shop in the open-air marketplace. The city is sometimes referred to as Hollywood of the South — as it’s a film site for many movies like Forrest Gump.

Clyde Mark, Mont.

If you and your girlfriends are big yogis, then consider a retreat to Big Sky Yoga in Big Sky Country, Montana. Take your yoga practice to another level with new scenery like a mountain backdrop against an open sky. This yoga retreat is part yoga and part horseback riding — it’ll give you the opportunity to try something new, connect with nature and create fond memories.

Denver, Colo.

The Mile High City makes for an active adventure. Spend the day hiking and another renting bikes to explore the city’s 850 miles of off-road trails. To cool off and unwind, head to one of the city’s highly ranked microbreweries like the Great Divide or head over to the Cherry Creek neighborhood which has shops and a wine bar — allowing you to self sample vintage wines from tap. Feel free to bring your pooches along because Denver ranked near the top for being pet friendly.
