La Moneda Cultural Center
For a well-rounded and in-depth view of Chilean culture, be sure to check out the La Moneda Cultural Center. It houses collections on the country’s artists, films and regional variations all for a low admission of 1,000 pesos.
National Natural History Museum
If you’d like an overview of all the different plants and animals found throughout the country, but don’t have the time to tread the entire length, take a gander at the National Natural History Museum. There are dozens of exhibits featuring the diverse flora and fauna of Chile and admission is free if you can get there on a Sunday.

Museo de San Francisco
The Museo de San Francisco is located in the San Francisco convent, which was built in 1628 and is still standing today. Not only is the building itself something of an artistic masterpiece, but the halls are filled with religious and colonial art that will fascinate all visitors who pass through.
Museo Interactive Mirador
Rather than simply looking at the exhibits, the Museo Interactive Mirado allows you to get in knee deep and interact with them. It’s perfect for families with small children who get bored walking around in circles, and they usually get in free.
