Alexandria National Museum
Located in a renovated Italian-style palace, the museum houses more than 1,800 artifacts highlighting the history of Alexandria and Egypt. Visitors will find stoneware, jewelry, statues, glassware, clothing and weapons in the permanent collection.
Bibliotheca Alexandria
This library and cultural center opened in 2002 to commemorate the significant Library of Alexandria, destroyed thousands of years ago. In addition to the library, visit the on-site museum, special exhibitions and science center to learn about Egypt’s past. Bibliotheca Alexandrina is closed on Fridays.
Citadel of Qaitbay
The 15th-century fortress is located on the site of the Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Sevens Wonders of the Ancient World. The defensive stronghold is considered one of the most important of its kind on the Mediterranean Sea. The building now serves as a maritime museum, open daily to visitors.
Montaza Palace and Gardens
Montaza Palace is a palace and garden located in the Montaza district of Alexandria. Built for the former king, the grounds overlook the beach on the Mediterranean Sea. The gardens feature multiple rare plants and trees.
Royal Jewelry Museum
The Royal Jewelry Museum is housed in the former palace of the royal Egyptian family. The collection includes pieces of jewelry worn by the royal family. It is the perfect destination for art and history lovers.

United Continues Its Global Expansion
