Tracking rhinos across the unsullied landscape of Namibia’s Palmwag Concession is one of the greatest adventures in Africa. The region is home to the largest free-roaming black rhino population in the world and covers a span of 450,000 hectares. It’s the perfect way to explore the understated beauty of one of the continent’s most spectacular countries.

Desert Rhino Camp serves as an outpost for adventures looking to engage in safe, wildlife-friendly rhino tracking. The encampment consists of eight Meru-style canvas tents set amit the rocky hills laid out before the Etendeka Mountains. The camp also features a lounge area with panoramic views and a swimming pool when you need to cool off after a long trek.

They offer rhino tracking adventures on either foot or car, along with a wealth of other wonderful opportunities. You can enjoy a guided nature walk to discover some of the country’s smaller residents or participate in a big game drive where you’ll likely spot elephants, zebras and giraffes. Bird watching is also popular in the region and the Palmwag Concession is home to aerial creatures like Verreauxs eagles, long-billed larks and Rüppell’s korhaan.

Tracking rhinos in Namibia is easily one of the best ways to soak in the beautiful, arid landscape of the country while also catching glimpses of Africa’s most famous creatures. Head over to the Desert Rhino Camp for more information on available dates and how to book.

But there are some medical products you might not really need, despite the overflow of suggestions.

Hotel Bonaventure

While the snow continued to fall at a steady clip, my taxi pulled up outside Hotel Bonaventure Montréal. A quick departure from my cab and a few steps later, I was taken in by the distinctive style of the entrance corridor. A quick elevator ride to the lobby is necessary because Hotel Bonaventure Montréal sits on the final two floors of a 17-story business and professional complex. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Montréal, and even connects to the city’s underground concourse.

Leave Troublesome Rideshare Worries Behind

We can see it now and remember when it happened to us: Watching as the black car icon loops around and around, seemingly endlessly, and our wait time on the rideshare app continually changes. Long wait times and confused drivers are just a few bothersome issues that can nag at rideshare users. Need a solution? Ditch rideshares altogether in favor of renting a car on your next trip.
