If you are a fan of slow travel, you will appreciate the philosophy behind Ttanti watches.
Instead of constantly rushing to tick off destinations mentioned in the travel guides, Ttanti is about appreciating the journey as part of the experience of traveling. Taking a step back and appreciating the small things. Looking at every aspect of adventure as a worthwhile experience.
The company made three different watches as part of its Traveler’s Collection. Magellanes uses Lenga wood and a dark brown strap, with a choice of white or black dials. The Darwin is made from Aromo, with a black strap and a choice of dials, while the Chatwin is made from Roble with a reddish brown strap. Each of the watches follows the same design principles, with simplicity the defining feature. There are no distractions with the Ttanti watches, just as the makers don’t want there to be any distractions when traveling.
The team behind the watches designed them in the Patagonia region in Chile, a spectacular landscape that invites self-reflection. The handmade watches should be appreciated for their use of natural materials and clean lines, which provide a simple beauty.
After a successful Kickstarter campaign the watches are on sale, with a watch and two-strap bundle selling for $268. Support Patagonian artisans and industry with Ttanti watches, and you’ll be reminded to take time out from the stress of daily life.
