Guests at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel can now enjoy two new overnight experiences in conjunction with the Pageant of the Masters and Festival of Arts, an annual event during which participants transform into life-sized recreations of famous works of art, with a narrator guiding an audience through the story of each living picture, accompanied by an orchestra. The juried art show includes 140 Orange County artists displaying paintings, prints, photography, sculpture and more.
The Pageant of the Masters Under the Sun experience, named for this year’s theme around 20th-century Impressionists and Plein Air painters, includes overnight accommodations, two tickets to the Pageant of the Masters stage performance, a welcome amenity and Pageant of the Masters program and admission to the Festival of Arts.
For those who want a more in-depth experience, the Behind the Velvet Rope offer provides a behind-the-scenes tour of the stage performance as well as two tickets, admission to the Festival of Arts, a private docent tour of the festival, a welcome amenity and program and club-level ocean-view accommodations.
The Under the Sun experience starts at $899 per night for two travelers and the Behind the Velvet Rope experience starts at $1,999 for two travelers. The latter is only available for Saturday night stays. Both are available July 7–Sept. 1.
