Enjoy some time with friends with drinks at BAR’N, a rustic-meets-urban bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. A popular spot for locals and visitors, BAR’N offers beers, wines and a full menu of delicious cocktails, including the favorite BAR’N cocktail. Order a drink for $4–8 each.
For dinner, enjoy burgers and other popular dishes at Jilles Beer & Burgers. In addition to sharing plates like chicken wings and vegan nachos, Jilles offers classic burger dishes, as well as chicken burgers, salad bowls and vegan burgers. Guests can enjoy a filling meal for $9–19.
Sites and Attractions
Bruges is a great city for biking, and with many bike rentals located throughout the city, visitors can easily access a bike and enjoy the narrow, cobbled streets, stone bridges and canal-lined roads of Bruges. Enjoy a two-hour bike ride for just $7.50.
Belgium boasts as one of the best beer-producing countries in the world, and Bruges serves as the home to some fantastic breweries, including De Halve Maan. This family-run brewery offers guided tours and a museum highlighting old brewing techniques. For just $12, this 45-minute tour takes guests to the top of the brewery to see the iconic steeple of the Church of Our Lady before ending on the ground floor for guests to enjoy a glass of one of De Halve Maan’s most popular beers.
One of the most iconic features of Bruges and perhaps the most distinguishable icon of the Bruges skyline, the 13th-century Church of Our Lady is free for visitors wanting to admire this magnificent building. The Gothic cathedral is most famous for its spire but also features a unique altarpiece of Madonna and Child from the 18th century.
