Seattle’s sprawling historic Pike Place Market is one of the city’s top attractions. It can be easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun. Discover unexpected nooks, find secret hideaway shops and restaurants, and enjoy one of the most vibrant parts of the city.
Start your day with breakfast at Le Panier, a French-style café filled with pristine, from-scratch pastries and breads. A pastry and coffee will set you back around $15.
Next, wander the many nooks and crannies of the market, browsing shops and craft stalls. You might catch the “fish throwers” near the front of the market, watch ferries on Elliott Bay and find souvenirs to take home.
When lunch rolls around, many of the quick-service food stalls can fill you up for around $10.
Spend part of the afternoon at the Great Wheel, a giant Ferris wheel on the waterfront near Pike Place Market. Adult tickets are $14.
Save room for a beer and a sunset view before dinner at Old Stove Brewing, where you’ll use about $5 on a pint.
The rest of your money will serve you well for dinner in the market, where options abound. Best bets are Matt’s in the Market, Radiator Whiskey, and Jarr .
