Planning your 2018 summer getaway? United has you covered, with brand-new routes to get you to Europe more ways than ever before.

New, non-stop, seasonal service is offered to four popular destinations — Reykjavik (KEF), Porto (OPO), Edinburgh (EDI) and Zurich (ZRH). The first two depart New York (EWR), while service to Zurich originates in San Francisco (SFO), and service to Edinburgh in Washington, D.C. (IAD).

“As we continue growing our global route network we are offering more choice and convenience to travel internationally, something our customers have told us they want,” said Patrick Quayle, vice president of international network, United. “The new seasonal summer flights offer customers even more opportunities to plan summer travel to four of Europe’s most beautiful cities.”

The new service to Porto begins May 4. The flights depart at 9:45 p.m., arriving in Portugal at 9:50 a.m.

Service to Reykjavik begins May 23, with departures at 10:30 p.m., arriving at 8:10 a.m. The flights to Edinburgh also begin May 23, with departures at 10:10 p.m., arriving at 10:25 a.m.

The new flights to Zurich kick off last, June 7, with an 11-hour flight departing at 2:10 p.m. from San Francisco, arriving in Switzerland at 10:10 a.m.

Can’t wait until summer to take advantage of one of United’s new routes? The airline begins daily service between Los Angeles (LAX) and Singapore (SIN) and between New York (EWR) and Buenos Aires (EZE) this month, as well as service between Houston (IAH) and Sydney (SYD) in January.
