Travelers ages 18–22 can shop discounted fares via the United app for a limited time — bookings are available with this promotion until Dec. 31. Users simply access the app, sign into their MileagePlus account (or create one for free), choose a trip, select “Book” on the bottom navigation bar, select “Discounted travel ages 18–22” and the savings will be applied at check-out. Another aspect young adults and students will love is the opportunity to reduce their carbon footprint when traveling with United. Sustainability is a major focus for the airline — last year, the airline offset carbon emissions of the first 25,000 travelers who used the flight discount.
