California delights visitors this spring with a host of new hotel, culinary and entertainment options.

 

Gaylord Pacific Resort and Convention Center

The highly anticipated Gaylord Pacific Resort and Convention Center debuts this May. The property in San Diego will boast 1,600 guestrooms, an exhibit hall, four ballrooms, more than a dozen restaurants and a waterpark. Also debuting in May, Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach will offer visitors 41 guestrooms and charming amenities. AC Hotel Pasadena and TreeHouse Hotel Silicon Valley recently began welcoming guests.

 

Ponyboy recently opened at The Pearl Hotel in San Diego. The restaurant serves reimagined 1960s dishes including ambrosia salad, deviled eggs and tuna casserole. Royal Sun Palm Springs introduced its new bar and restaurant High Moon. Two menus are available: Sunrise, which features breakfast and brunch classics, and Afterglow, a refined dinner menu. Head to The Market by the Meat Cellar for a healthy steakhouse experience.

Counterculture Museum recently debuted in San Francisco. The new museum honors influential countercultural movements from the 1960s through today. Sensorio in Paso Robles opened its new Fiber Optic Symphony Orchestra installation, featuring a multisensory experience through a visual and musical display. Starting May 16, Disneyland begins its 70th anniversary celebration, with an array of magical fun taking place throughout the anniversary year.
