Sukhumvit is the cosmopolitan heart of Bangkok and home to many Western expats and wealthy locals. The best restaurants in the city are found here and it’s a great place to mingle with people who moved to the area from far away. It’s also central to every popular tourist attraction in the city.

Pratunam

Those looking for a more authentic experience while still remaining close enough to the city center to walk to most attractions should look no further than Pratunam. Here you’ll find streets vendors over shopping centers and much more affordable housing than neighboring Siam.
