Tips / Travel

A hammock is an incredibly versatile tool that should always be with you when you travel. Don’t believe us? Here are a just a few of the uses.

Makeshift Bed

Whether you’re at an airport and stuck overnight waiting for a flight or find yourself in the world’s dingiest hotel, you’ve got your own pack-away bed in the form of a hammock. Hang it up between seats or from one end of the room to another to avoid bed bugs.

Spontaneous Camping

Maybe you’re out exploring a foreign mountain range and decide you’d like to camp out. You don’t want to take a tent everywhere you go; those things are heavy. Having a hammock on hand makes camping no matter where you go a cinch.

Extra Sack

What happens when your backpack rips and you don’t have any tape on hand to piece it back together? You’ve got to put your stuff in something until you get to the store. A hammock also works as a makeshift sack for you to wrap all your belongings in during an emergency.

Travel Pillow

When your hammock is all packed up in its bag you’ve got yourself a comfy pillow to rest your head on. Only have an hour break between flights? Whip out the hammock in a bag and use it to catch a quick nap. An extra pillow is also great to have on hand.
