National Slavery Museum
Slavery was a large part of Angola’s history, like much of the world, and the museum showcases how it affected the lives of those forced into servitude, as well as how it shaped the local culture and traditions. It’s a fascinating exhibit every visitor should see.
Avenida 4 de Fevereiro
The Avenida 4 de Fevereiro is the perfect place for travelers who enjoy exploring on foot. The walkway offers plenty of opportunities to take in the views of the city while also hitting up popular shopping spots along the way.
The Iron Palace
Built by Gustave Eiffel, the man responsible for the Statue of Liberty and his namesake tower in Paris, also designed and constructed the Iron Palace in Luanda. It’s a wonderful work of art that pays homage to the historical buildings of Angola.
