McSorley’s Old Ale House
The oldest bar in New York City, McSorley’s sticks to its authentic tavern roots —you’ll find sawdust on the bar floor to soak up spilled beer. Only two types of beer are on tap, dark and light ale, poured by the Irish bartenders. A bit of history: Women weren’t allowed into McSorley’s until 1970.

Molly’s Shebeen
Molly’s is a traditional Irish pub and restaurant on Manhattan’s East Side. Opened in 1895, the space served as a grocery store during Prohibition. Today, Molly’s offers guests bar grub alongside classic Irish dishes, including Shepherd’s Pie.

United Continues Its Global Expansion
United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. The airline added new non-stop flights between Newark (EWR) and Marrakesh (RAK), Morocco; Tokyo (NRT) and Cebu (CEB), Philippines; and Houston (IAH) and Medellin (MDE), Colombia. That’s not all: United also plans to increase flights to popular worldwide destinations including Hong Kong (HKG); Seoul (INC), South Korea; and Porto (OPO), Portugal. Following the recent agreement to increase flights between the U.S. and Chinese governments, the airline now adds four weekly flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Shanghai (PVG).

Air New Zealand recently announced plans to introduce all-electric cargo flights by 2026 using The Beta ALIA electric cargo aircraft, which weighs 3 tons, exceeds 39 feet and can reach speeds up to 168 mph. Test flights have shown it can cover nearly 300 miles on a single charge, with a charge time of 40–60 minutes. The aircraft will collaborate with New Zealand Post to shuttle mail.
