Wedding

The perfect seasonal backdrop for your wedding can be yours when you choose to marry your love in Vermont. Blessed with four distinct seasons, you can choose between the rolling hills of lush green in summer or the vibrant reds, greens and yellows of fall. Or if you prefer the smooth, delicate coating of white in winter, or the bright colors of spring.

If you want your wedding to stand out from all your friends, then consider a destination wedding at one of these five top Vermont getaways.

The Inn at Round Barn Farm

Nestled in the Mad River Valley and near two major ski areas (Mad River Glen and Sugarbush), the Inn features indoor and outdoor venues with its namesake round barn, which can accommodate 200 guests for your reception.

Trapp Family Lodge

The Trapp Family Lodge overlooks the charming town of Stowe and is surrounded by panoramic views of the Worcester Mountains. You can choose to marry outdoors with these mountain views, on the concert stage that sits beneath the Nebraska Valley mountain range or in the Mozart room with its authentic post-and-beam charm.

Riverside Farm

At Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, you can choose your ideal location from more than 700 acres of land, six barns, three properties and a farm. As one of the most exclusive venues in Vermont, it hosts only 15 weddings a year. This is an authentic, working farm that grows and sells its own vegetables.

Old Lantern Inn

With the largest self-proclaimed maple dance floor in Vermont, the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte is a rebuilt barn from the 1800s. It can accommodate up to 350 people with a commercial kitchen on-site and offers guests a stunning view of Lake Champlain.

The Barn at Boyden Farm

At Boyden, you’ll be treated to an authentic post-and-beam indoor pavilion for guests, along with a large stone patio. Want to serve beef and wine? Look no further. Boyden Farm is also one of the most successful and popular local all-natural beef producers in the state. Plus, its winery has won numerous national awards.
