Under $100 / North America

It’s easy to spend a full day of activities and dining in downtown Seattle without breaking the bank. From art to attractions to cheap eats, there’s plenty to keep you busy.

Start your morning at Honest Biscuits in Pike Place Market where you’ll fill up on massive, fluffy biscuits made with local ingredients. Budget about $10 for a gourmet biscuit and coffee.

Then, spend time exploring the quirky shops, craftspeople and food vendors throughout Pike Place Market. You can grab free samples of fruit, smoked salmon and beef jerky as you wander through.

Head to lunch at one of the many excellent restaurants inside the market, like Country Dough (where you can sample Szechuan flat bread, a delicious street food) or Dot’s Deli, where sandwiches rule the menu. Budget about $15.

Spend your afternoon at an attraction like the Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Aquarium or the Seattle Center, where your options include a trip up the Space Needle, a wander through the Chihuly Glass and Gardens or a hands-on adventure at the Experience Music Project. Ticket prices vary, but you’ll spend around $20.

Finally, end your day with dinner at a classic Seattle restaurant like Le Pichet, Wild Ginger or Place Pigalle. Your remaining budget of $55 will cover it.
