Customers aboard JetBlue flights will start to notice a few changes to the coach seats, as the company is overhauling its 16-year-old cabin design. Over the next three years, they’ll phase in an additional 12 seats to the cabin and relocate galleys so they take up less room.

JetBlue has long boasted it has the most coach legroom of any carrier, and that assertion seems like it will still ring true despite fears adding more seats would shrink space significantly. The relocated galleys will help, so the seat pitch will range from around 32 to 33 inches in standard, coach rows.

In addition, the company is ramping up in-flight connectivity and entertainment features. There’s already free high-speed Internet on many of the flights, and there’s now going to be 10-inch, high-definition touch screens on the seatbacks, an upgrade from the 6.5-inch screens there now.

You’ll also gain in-flight streaming entertainment on the Google Android platform, with the ability to connect your personal device to the seatback screen. There will also be 100 DirecTV channels, up from 36 currently.

Passengers will have access to streaming and downloading before the flight leaves, plus you’ll have access to Amazon video, The Wall Street Journal and more. And finally, each seat will have a power outlet added.
