Luxury wine tour provider French Wine Explorers announced experiences available for the 2019 season. New tours include luxury accommodations, Michelin-starred dining and experiences at prestigious wineries in both France and Italy, including Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, the Rhône Valley, Provence, the Loire Valley, Paris and Tuscany.
“New and exclusive experiences are the focus of the highly successful Bordeaux and Burgundy programs,” said Pascale Bernasse, president, French Wine Explorers. “And our new Tuscan program is the highlight of the 2019 tour offerings.”
“We are excited to release our 2019 tour dates to the public since all of our 2018 group dates sold out so quickly,” she added. “Our 2019 group tours are filling up, so now is the best time to book a once in a lifetime tour with us.”
The Tuscan tours delve into the heart of Italian wine country, with visits to both Southern Tuscany and Maremma on the coast.
The Bourdeaux Prestige tour includes VIP tastings of Lafite Rothschild, Latour, Margaux, Haut-Brion and Mouton Rothschild, at the estates of Pomerol, Sauternes and Saint Emilion. A new addition to this tour is a cocktail reception at a private chateau in St. Emilion.
The Grand Cru Tour of Burgundy is an in-depth exploration of the 32 Grand Crus of Burgundy, accompanied by specially designed culinary experiences. New to this tour are two private Burgundy master classes led by a Burgundy wine expert.
Each tour is limited to 10–14 guests to retain intimacy and personalization during the travel experience. All amenities are provided, such as ground transportation, luxury accommodations, gourmet dining, all wine tastings, sightseeing and bilingual wine guides. Tour prices start at $5,990 and both solo and paired travelers are invited.
