Opening April 2023 in Tswalu, South Africa, this sustainability-focused camp offers six spacious, multibedroom, safari-style retreats at the base of the Korannaberg Mountains. Guests enjoy butler service and use of a private safari vehicle.
In June 2023, 4 Rivers opens in Botswana, situated in a forested corner of the Kwara Private Reserve. The camp will offer nine solar-powered tented suites with views of Maboa Island.
Also in Botswana, North Island Okavango opens a month later in July 2023, with just three tents in an intimate setting. Each luxury safari tent offers its own plunge pool, sundeck, multiple bathrooms and views of the hippo lagoon.
Later in the year, keep your eyes peeled for the opening of Banyan Tree Ilha Cladeira in Mozambique. The largest of these first four new properties, the Banyan Tree outpost will offer 40 villas with ocean views and some world-class snorkeling and diving opportunities.

Also opening in late 2023, but still in time for a holiday getaway, Agama Amboseli will offer a getaway in Kenya’s Kimana Sanctuary, where big game roam just a short distance away from the property’s swimming pool.
