Translating to 700,000 hours, 700,000 Heures is the world’s first roaming hotel experience. With a name representing the average time we all spend on Earth, the company aims to offer guests a unique experience.
Every six months the hotel moves to a new destination. Launched in 2018, the hotel has had locations in Italy, Cambodia, Brazil and Paris, with its sights set on Japan in early 2020. To begin your 700,000 Heures experience, first sign up to become a member in the Amazirs’ Circle. To join, the entrance fee costs about $2,600 with an annual fee of about $650, both of which go toward your next trip as a deposit.
The 700,000 Heures team brings trunks filled with items pertaining to the destination to craft the unique hotel experience, from kitchen supplies right down to the bed. The company partners with Institut Paul Bocuse, a hospitality brand, to train locals in the new hotel destinations. At the end of the hotel’s run, the employees receive a training certificate.
Each 700,000 Heures hotel will never be available again, making for a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
