Get outside in New York this year with a number of biking events around the state. In addition to the various events detailed before, NY is home to one of the largest bike events in North America, the TD Five Boro Bike Tour and Expo, offering classes, demos and showcases.

 

Wilmington Whiteface Bike Fest, June 5–7

Family and serious cyclists alike will enjoy this Adirondacks-area bike fest, featuring the Jump Jam, Trials Exhibition, 14h Annual Whiteface Mountain Uphill Bike Race and vendor expo. Additionally, enjoy music events, food, children’s activities, a Bike Fest Beach Party and the 5th Annual Wilmington/Whiteface 100K Mountain Bike Race.

Annual Raccoon Rally Cycling Festival, June 27–28

Cycling races include the annual Road Race, Trials Competition, Blockbuster Cross Country and Kids Race. Competitive riders compete on a world-class array of courses.

 

UCI Windham World Cup 2015, Aug. 6–9

The world’s best pro mountain bikers will compete in cross-country and downhill races during this four-day event full of activities, a block party and community events.

 

Highlander Cycle Tour, Sept. 11–12

This charity bike tour of the Finger Lakes wine region features four different road races and an off-road course. Food and music accompany the races, and, on Sunday, the Finger Lakes Triathlon is held.
