For a fun and upbeat show, check out the critically acclaimed Kinky Boots. The happy-go-lucky show, with music from Cyndi Lauper, will be at the Al Hirschfeld Theater from Feb. 1–May 29.
Stephen King’s classic thriller Misery stars Bruce Willis and Laurie Metcalf at the Broadhurst Theater. This suspenseful drama will be running from Feb. 2–14, so this show is definitely a must-see while available.
A View From the Bridge is a passion-filled and heart-wrenching drama by theater legend Arthur Miller. The immigrant tale is set in the 1950s and is a great production to see for any fan of the gritty styling of Arthur Miller. This show will be available Feb. 2–21 at the Lyceum Theatre from $59 a ticket.
Another great show running in February is Matilda; this musical adaptation of Roald Dahl’s beloved novel is fun and exciting for all ages. Matilda The Musical runs through July 3 at the Shubert Theatre from $39–99 a ticket. For anyone who has read the book or seen the movie, the musical is a twist on an old favorite.
Whether in the mood for lighthearted, thrilling or dramatic, there is a show for any theater fan visiting New York City this month.
