Finding time to travel is difficult, but once a date and destination are settled, finding time to plan activities, lodging, meals and tours could take weeks or months of research, reading reviews online and asking friends for suggestions. A new service called Plango attempts to remove the lengthy processes involved in trip planning by providing custom-made travel itineraries for busy travelers who just don’t have time to plan every second of their vacations.
Travelers can log on to Plango’s website, search through pre-made travel plans and select a comprehensive plan to use as a template. Once the template is in place, the user can customize the dates, times and activities based on his or her needs and interests. The free service will also assist travelers in booking flights, reserving hotel rooms and inviting friends and family to share travel plans.
Users can search already made schedules or they can create their own itineraries to share with other travelers after their trip. Search from popular activities in your destination and then drag and drop items to a calendar where each and every hour of your trip is visually presented in an organized and concise format.
Plango is currently in beta mode, but users can create accounts and use the services during its developmental stages.
