The final of the Davis Cup tennis tournament will see Argentina face off against Croatia. After a grueling year of international tennis events, top players from the two nations will battle it out to see who will be the eventual winner of the Davis Cup 2016. Matches will be played at the Arena Zagreb from Nov. 25–27, with stars Juan Martin del Potro and Ivo Karlovic both in attendance.

The 15,000-capacity arena will be the venue for the first Davis Cup final ever to be played in Croatia. The Argentinian team will be hoping to win its first title in its fifth attempt, although the Croatians are now confident after serve-and-volley specialist Karlovic returned from injury.

Davis Cup tennis is unique as it pits national teams against each other in a best-of-five series of games. The format is made for high drama and fans that make it to the arena are in for a treat.

Croatia is a fantastic destination for travelers with plenty to see. Zagreb is the capital of the country and has many of the best museums and art galleries, as well as a strong gastronomic culture.

The city has become a popular destination for city breaks in recent years and it’s not hard to see why. If you come for the Davis Cup, you could find yourself enchanted by this compact, charming city.

You can find more information on the Davis Cup official website.
