Fall feels finally arrived and apple-picking season is well underway. Call it basic, but there’s nothing better than roaming an orchard to pick fresh apples in a cozy sweater and sampling all the best treats, like warm apple cider and caramel apples. To get your dose of everything good and cozy about visiting an orchard in the fall, check out our top picks on the East Coast this season.

Linvilla Orchards (Media, Pa.)

This 300-acre farm in Media, Pa., has all the best orchard activities from hayrides to a farmers market. Its Halloween hayride is one to beat and they have an entire section dedicated to pumpkins called Pumpkinland to fulfill all your fall cravings.

Scott Farm (Dummerston, Vt.)

This orchard in Dummerston, Vt., is listed on the National Register of Historic Places; its 571 acres have been running since 1791. Enjoy hard cider tasting events and apple pie workshops to get a taste of some of the best apples.

Honey Pot Hill Orchards (Stow, Mass.)

I mean, even the name of this orchard sounds delicious. USA Today recently nominated Honey Pot Hill Orchards for Best Apple Orchard. Its activities include hedge mazes, farm animals and hayrides galore.

Terhune Orchards (Princeton, N.J.)

Not only is this an apple orchard, but a vineyard and winery as well — the perfect triple threat. If you’re looking to do some boozy orchard activities, this is the place.

Alyson’s Orchard (Walpole, N.H.)

Can’t get enough of orchard season? Why not get married on one? Alyson’s Orchard in Walpole, N.H., can accommodate your dream orchard wedding needs. Otherwise, it’s a pretty great orchard for singletons as well.

Where Can You Find the Mai Tai Mile?

Stay at Kona Village on the Big Island of Hawai’i and you may think your experience consists solely of private, residential-style luxury and perhaps the occasional fresh pineapple, but Rosewood Resort has something else a little special. More specifically, Kona Village has its very own Mai Tai Mile, where guests can find four unique and different takes on the Mai Tai. Each distinct drink is inspired by its setting and comes with its own story.
