Whether you’re going on a long trip or a quick weekend getaway, there are some items that are a must for your carry-on luggage. Put these items at the top of your packing list when you’re preparing for your next trip.
A Change of Clothes
If your checked luggage gets lost, or if you simply like having easy access to more clothes, pack an extra set of clothes in your carry-on. Include an oversized scarf to wear in case the plane is cold.
Back-Up Entertainment
In case your battery dies, have a back-up form of entertainment ready to go. Throw an extra magazine or book, or both, in your bag.
Sanitizing Wipes
Sanitizing wipes are a must in case you run into an unclean situation on your flight. Wipes also provide a quick alternative to washing your hands in case you are in a rush.
Snacks
Pack a few light snacks to enjoy during your flight. This way you’ll be all set in case the airline doesn’t offer food or doesn’t have the types of snacks you enjoy. Try to bring snacks without an odor to keep your seatmates happy.
Medication
Keep all of your prescription and over-the-counter medication with you in your carry-on bag. Pack some extras, too, in case your trip is unexpectedly extended.
