Trying to find that perfect balance of warmth, comfort and convenience while traveling is no easy task. This is where travel wraps, multipurpose scarves and sheets come into play.

For something light and easily transportable, Brave Era makes a 100-percent mulberry silk travel sheet — naturally hypoallergenic, temperature regulating and machine washable. Use it as a wrap to stay warm, as an extra sheet if you don’t entirely trust the bedding at your hotel, on an air mattress or in a sleeping bag. The multifunction sheet costs $79.99, available in white and grey.

For those who run cold, the Madewell Plaid Cape Scarf ($80) is a wool-blend wrap warm enough for chilly airplanes and weather, but made with light colors so it’s also appropriate to wear out and about in warmer months.

You can treat yourself to a White and Warren Travel Wrap, which comes with a heftier price tag but is well worth it for the quality, comfort and style. The wrap is available in holly heather red, pearl white, black, cobalt heather, mulberry heather (my favorite) and dark cedar heather, available online for $298.

A more budget-friendly option is Target’s Travel Wrap by A New Day, only $19.99. This long scarf is a timeless, versatile piece perfectly pairable with any outfit. It’s available in light pink, a rich burgundy, heather gray, brown, cream, black and emerald green.

Travel accessory experts Aria crafted a few stunning shawls, cardigans and sweaters. The Women’s Irregular-Front Cardigan Sweater with Sleeves ($24) is a great thing to throw in your carry-on if you’re going somewhere warm but want something cozy for the plane; the Aztec Print Knitted Travel Shawl ($68) with Fringe Detail is a chic, high-quality shawl that will keep you warm and looking fabulous; and the Patterned Tassel Pashmina Scarf/Shawl/Beach Mat is just as the name implies — an all-in-one travel necessity boasting a cut print for only $22. Visit Aria’s website to browse its entire collection of travel must-haves.
