Curio Collection by Hilton Plans Big 2018 Expansion

Hilton’s Curio Collection includes nearly 50 upscale, unique hotels, with plans to continue to widen the brand’s footprint across the globe, particularly over the next 9 months.

“Our robust pipeline will soon bring Curio Collection by Hilton to over 100 hotels and resorts by 2020,” said Mark Nogal, global head, Curio Collection by Hilton. “Through our expansion, travelers will be able to experience authentic travel moments all while reaping the benefits of our award-winning Hilton Honors loyalty program in new destinations around the world.”

The first 2018 hotel to join the Curio Collection is Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake, N.Y., offering 102 renovated guestrooms, one restaurant, a bar and lounge.

Following is the Niepce Paris, boasting Parisian history and decor just a quick walk from the Eiffel Tower.

The Reykjavik Konsulat Hotel is located in a historic 1900s department store, given new life as a hotel with Icelandic accents.

The Porter Portland offers boutique-style guestrooms, a rooftop bar, a spa and plentiful event space 16 stories above the Fountain District and its shopping and dining.

Lastly, there’s the Gran Hotel Costa Rica, in San Jose, overlooking the National Theatre and within easy walking distance of top attractions, shopping, dining and museums.

In addition to the above hotels opening in 2018, Curio Collection expands further in 2019, with a property in New Orleans, the first Curio property in Louisiana.
