For those of us who don’t boast great upper body strength, hoisting a piece of hefty carry-on luggage into an overhead bin on an airplane can be a source of traveler’s anxiety. Even when the plane ride is over, travelers can run into problems at their destination if there is, say, a very long walk or a very steep climb involved to get to where they are staying.

There is hope out there, and it isn’t in the form of a gym membership. IT Luggage’s World’s Lightest collection is a line of ultra-lightweight suitcases — we’re talking a meager 3.4 pounds, in the case of the lightest bag the brand offers. It’s the kind of item that makes you want to show it off to other people. I have been tempted to roll it out during a party so guests can lift it up and feel for themselves how ridiculously light this luggage is.

Not only is it much lighter than the average suitcase, but it can hold up to the jostling rigors of travel. It doesn’t have the sturdy feel of a heavier suitcase, as a lot of extra weight is saved in the frame design, but my 22-inch bag survived being a piece of checked luggage without incident. If you plan to use it as a carry-on, there is virtually no risk involved in using this soft, lightweight type of bag.

The 22-inch IT Luggage World’s Lightest collection suitcase gives me the lightness and easy handling of a duffel bag, but the structural integrity of a suitcase. It holds everything I need for a short trip and functions just as well as my heavier suitcases, and it eases my worry about throwing it up into an overhead bin or carrying it up flights of stairs.

The World’s Lightest collection offers an array of colors and sizes, so customers have plenty of options when making the switch to a lighter type of travel. Learn more at ITluggage.com.
