Goat Island, located 5 kilometers west of Ardmore in County Waterford, Ireland, is an adventure of a lifetime! As you are driving to Goat Island, your heart is in the pit of your stomach because of the narrow road on the cliff and the ocean right beside you. But, the horrifying car ride is worth it.
When you finally arrive you see a spectacular view of the ocean and a beach engulfed by cliffs and caves. The first thing I did was have a picnic on top of the cliff overlooking the ocean; the view was nothing I have ever seen before. After I finished lunch, I made my way down to the beach and went swimming, then I noticed people were cliff jumping.
Being the adventurous person I am, I decided to give it a try. As I made my way over to the edge of the cliff, I was shaking with fear, but when I jumped, exhilaration took over, and I went again and again and again.
After tiring myself out, I decided to go and explore some of the caves surrounding the beach. Goat Island is filled with so many activities — you are able to explore caves and jump off cliffs, star gaze at night, have bonfires, go fishing, rock climbing, and swimming. If you are looking for an adventure and a good time, Goat Island should be next on your bucket list.

Yesterday, TSA began enforcing new identification guidelines, a change that’s been a long-time coming.
